Legion Of Mary
The legion of Mary is a lay apostolic association of Catholics who, with the sanction of the church and under the powerful leadership of Mary Immaculate, Mediatrix of all Graces, serve the church and their neighbours on a voluntary basis in about 170 countries.
The Legion of Mary was established in Christ the King Catholic Church Ojo Road on the 5th December, 1971(52 years ago), with Our Lady Queen of Apostles the first Praesidium in the parish.
AIMS AND OBJECTIVES
Aims At The Personal Sanctification Of Her Members And Establishing The Reign Of Christ In Every Heart, Through Prayers And Active Legionary Works.
It Is Open To Every Baptized And Practicing Catholics From 18 Years And Above, While The Junior Praesidia Serve As Breeding Grounds For Every Baptized Catholics Below 18 Years For Eventual Migration To The Senior Praesidia.
