The Holy Childhood Association (HCA) was founded in Paris, France, on the 9th of May, 1843, by Bishop Charles Forbin-Jason, the Bishop of Nancy.
The society aims at creating a movement of Christian children committed to helping other children throughout the world.
Through this society, children are imbued with a universal missionary spirit.
The society is for children between the ages of three (3) years to fourteen (14) years.
AIMS AND OBJECTIVES:
•To unite children between the ages of 3 and 14 years, and make them friends of Jesus.
•To make them aware of the universality of the church, and of the poverty, both spiritual and material, of so many children in every part of the world.
•To make them realize that they have a mission as baptized Catholics and to bring His good news to others and share generously.
