Divine Mercy Devotion Prayer Group

The divine mercy apostolate was inaugurated in Christ the King Catholic Church, Ojo ojo Road, in the year 2007. It is an apostolate that calls on all christians to embrace the mercy of God through a total devotion to Him through Jesus Christ, the divine mercy incarnate.

Jesus appeared to St. Maria Faustina of Kowalska drawing her to make feasible the burning mercy in His heart for sinners and the whole world, as His mercy conquers all situations. He said: `at 3 0'clock, implore my mercy; especially for sinners; and, if only for a brief moment, ``immense yourself in my passion, particularly in my abandonment at the moment of agony. This is the hour of great mercy for the whole mortal soul.

AIMS AND OBJECTIVE

To evangelize and draw the attention of the whole world to the greatness of the mercy of God, praying for God's mercy on the whole world.

To pray for the departed souls for God's mercy.

To do charity to the needy and less privileged.

To visit the prisons.

To act on the deeds of mercy ( both corporal and spiritual works of mercy.

To support the spiritual and physical growth of the church.

Meeting Day

Every 3rd Sunday of the month, after the 6:30am mass.

DAYS OF PRAYER AND DEVOTION

Monthly 9 days novena( starting from 1st Friday of the month and Good Friday).

Daily prayer by 3pm at the Chapel.
