St Jude Catholic Society

St. Jude Thaddeus Society is a community of adults seeking to follow the path of St Jude as followers and friends of Christ. This goal is accomplished by offering small-group settings to delve into our faith, as well as, opportunities to gather as a larger group to celebrate the sacraments and enjoy fellowship.

St. Jude Catholic Society came into birth in CKC Ojo Road Ajegunle; the then outstation of St Mary's Parish in there year1975. This noble course championed by late Mr. Jude Ohaja, a member of St Mathew's Catholic Church, Amukoko.

AIMS AND OBJECTIVES

1. To promote devotion to St Jude Thaddeus.

2. To work with the clergy in evangelization.

3. To promote spiritual progress and apostolic spirit of members.

4. To vocations to the priesthood and religious life.

5. To carry out spiritual and corporal work of mercy.

6. To encourage love and peace among members of the society and the public.
